Note: This program is not to be bundled on any form of media, floppy, cdrom, etc.., to sell without my permission. If NetPenguin is to be put on a CD, I would kindly appreciate a free copy of the CD. That is not much to ask for, is it? =)

Features not implemented (but will or might be):

• Firewall support.
• setting file permissions on the file server
• mirroring?

Known problems or bugs:

• The flickering that occurs in the "Connected To:" window is not really my fault.
• The buttons and BBoxes next to the file list, cause the flickering when resizingthe window. (this can be fixed by re-arranging the views in the window so they are either above or below the file list)
• Displays listings properly only for Unix, Windows NT, AppleShare IP ftp servers, more servers will be supported. I will not be adding many more since the majority of ftp servers follow the UNIX format. However if you have a specific type of server which you would really really like to see support for let me know.
• If you are unlucky like I am, your connection may be lost after an upload.(Only on a PPP connection). I was informed if you lower the baud rate setting of your modem to something less than the actual modem speed it should not disconnect.

Fixed/implemented in version 0.94b1:

• Fixed passive connection problem. It broke in 0.93b1.
• Fixed the mime type string on the x86 version. Now it displays the correct type in the get info window.
• Added Proxy server settings.
• Added setting to remove tranfer item when it is completed. It will not remove the item if the user cancels or an error occurs.
• Added support to select files in the directory listing by typing in the names. Make sure that the directory listing view is selected/highlighted.
• Added pop-up menu support in the directory listing. Right click on a filename and you get easy and fast access to comman commands.

Fixed/implemented in version 0.93b1:

• Implemented support for resume downloads. Yay!!
• Fixed bug that caused files not to be shown in the list with some UNIX servers
• Fixed misc bugs.

Fixed/implemented in version 0.92b:

• Fixed crashing bug with Shortcuts. You will have to delete your old shortcuts file! The file should be in: /boot/home/config/settings/_LP_x-zeid-NetPenguin/ .
• Added display of bytes/sec in the transfer window

• Fixed crashing with systems that report invalid username from the beginning
• Added suport for Windows NT ftp servers
• Handles individial symbolic file downloads properly. Even updates the file list.
