        Notes: perl5.005_01 has all sorts of wacky things like the
               perl compiler, regex improvements, and a myriad of other things.
               Sockets and dynamic loading still don't work, though.
               Full documentation is included with perl; type `perldoc perltoc`
               for all sorts of info.
